Before I bought my laser, the company owner (Andrew) set up a Facetime call with me to go over all the questions I may have. I purchased my laser and received it very quickly (2-3 days). Unfortunately, when I opened the crate, the laser was damaged pretty badly. The bolts holding the upper arm where the lens/galvanometer mount, completely backed out causing this part to float freely around the crate while in transit. After waiting a week to hear back from LasersOnly due to sickness (this is not his fault, literally, the majority of the people I know were sick), Andrew assured me that all this damage was cosmetic and would not affect the laser's performance. The lenses and covers were all cracked but Andrew is sending me new ones. He did offer to send an entirely new one but insisted that once the new lens arrive, it will run flawlessly. I will put it all back together and test it. Just an FYI, the stand/metal working table needs to be addressed. After removing the laser from the crate in pieces, I decided to check all the other bolts that make up this assembly. These things are only finger-tightened at best. Some were not even finger-tight. I removed every bolt on this setup one by one, applied a dab of blue Loctite, and torqued them all. The feet on the bottom of the laser source cabinet also backed out during shipping (not even sure how that was possible considering it was placed in the crate on its feet. I had to re-tap the M5 screw hole on the bottom of the case cause the threads were damaged. Lastly, the metalworking table has four large threaded holes. This is where you screw in the leveling feet. These holes are also where the wood screws are placed to hold the tower in place during shipping. These threads are so badly damaged from the wood screws that the feet cannot be threaded back into the base plate. I am going to assume it is from the rough shipping journey it went through. This is not a negative review for the laser or LasersOnly. Andrew has left a great impression and has also done a great job at customer service. He will do whatever he has to to make the situation right. In a perfect world, I would have received my laser with no damage and would not be able to write about customer service, but I get to see what that side of his business is like and I can tell you that you will not be disappointed.
